Hi Nick, the season was great...as usual here. The difference as far as exposure, was a decision to try and carry the camcorder with some of the boats we ran. The result was enough footage to build our first annual highlights video. This was lots of fun for me, and it will now be our standard operating procedure. My only hesitation, is putting some of our guiding proprietary information out for the world to see.....oh well. It's marketing too...

I get the farm fresh blog feeds and share them with Heidi...again, it feels like your family is in the middle of your own private version of what our family is also pursuing. Hope all is going well for you and your family in the pursuit of goals. Doug

Hi Jeremy, yep, that is your brother, and yep, he got the only fish-o-the-day. We sure had a great time not catching fish! I'm going to give that upstream run at the Forks of the Salmon more attention. I'm starting to feel like the Salmon River steelhead must just blow through the lower stretches, since they are so hard to find there. Who knows though, maybe that is the spot to find the mystery "ghost run" of Winter steelhead giants later in January. By the way, tell Dennis Dixon and Mike I tried the "thing-a-ma-bobbers" on this trip. They are still bobbers, but they do cast nicer than a yarn parachute. See ya on the Klamath next year? Doug

Ummmmmm Yes the fish :) Miss that area. Grew up on Monterey Peninsula and hunted and fished all of Nor Cal. I moved to Idaho in 96. It was Heaven, but my wife felt the winters were hell...Now I live in Arizona. This is HELL!!! It has some opportunity's but nothing like Idaho or Calif. Are you the guide or client? I bookmarked the site. Would love to know rates , times etc. Thanks in advance
